No problems for the nudists of Sitges

A year ago the beaches of Sitges, near Barcelona, which were used traditionally by nudists, saw the local Town Hall erect signs welcoming families. At the time the council said that they did not want to ban nudists, but stop the exclusive nudist character of the beach.

The nudists protested at the time and even won a court order for the sign to be removed as it was considered discriminatory. Now, a year on, the story is different as beaches in the town see a mix of both clothed and naked bathers.
